Godspeed You Black Emperor! - F# A# (Infinity)

Never in the history of the world has music been so unbelievably powerful.

My heart to joy - Virgin sails/heavenly bodies

I used to listen to these guys a few summers ago while walking an hour and a half walk to my ex girlfriends down a bunch of long roads through huge fields. It set the scene perfectly every time, especially at sunset.
I couldn't decide between which album to put up, because they are both so fucking amazing. I havn't listened to their new one yet, but when I do, Im sure it will end up here.

Daniel Striped Tiger - Capital Cities

This was some of the first real emo music I ever listened to. Similar to My heart to joy at the same tone.

Crime in stereo - Crime in stereo is dead

I almost saw these guys with Brand New, but unfortunetaly ran a little late. However, this album is still one of my favorite fast moving, "scream your heart out" hardcore albums out there.

Blue sky black death - Late night cinema

Great instrumental hip-hop with sung female vocals.

Portrait - Discography

So I am currently half asleep and trying to push myself through the rest of Portraits discography and despite how amazing they are, I might have to call it quits and go sleep. But they are definitely worth putting up before I go to bed, so here you are! One of the most emotionally fueled screamo bands Ive heard in a while.

Heart Stopping.

Mock orange - Captain love

A friend showed me this a while ago. This is the type of music for sunny days and good moods. Not much else to say. This album just makes me happy.

Snowing - Fuck your emotional bullshit

Saw these guys a couple months ago. Fucking amazing emo band.

Polar bear club - Sometimes things just dissapear

Loud. Energetic. Feel good music. Simply put.

Trophy scars - Goodnight alchemy

Classic Trophy Scars. Borderline metalcore screamo with raw energy and the recurring sexualy provacative heartbreak lyrical content.

Bombs away! - Do you know where josh bell is?

I got this ep handed to me at a Snowing/My heart to joy show in Burlington VT. At the time I just kind of disregarded it and slipped it in my backpack. The next day, I was driving around with a few friends and needed something to listen to. Remembering it in my backpack, I pulled it out and handed it over. We were all blown away. Think pop-punk, but sped up ten times faster, with screamo vocals. This band became the soundtrack of that day and has got quite a few plays from myself since then.

Why? - Alopecia

I probably won't be posting much stuff like this, but I feel like this album definitely needs to be here. It's the strangest, catchiest just plain weird hip-hop/indie album ever. Yoni Wolfs lyrics are strange to the point that at first you may just laugh, but if you remain open to the music, you'll realize the truth and honesty in his words. No one person I've hear of has ever been so in touch to the small aspects of basic human nature as Yoni.

Transit - Stay Home

This has to be one of my favorite bands of all time. These guys play fucking amazing, energetic, honest pop punk. They are wicked nice guys and they put on a amazing show.

65daysofstatic - The fall of math

65daysofstatic are a electronic influenced post-rock band. In my opinion, they are among one of the greatest post rock bands ever. This album feels almost other-worldly. It will put you in a state of mind you have never felt before. If you are a fan of post rock, or even if you aren't 65dos are exceptional.

Touche amore - To the beat of a dead horse

Been listening to a lot of screamo lately, however this particular album stands out to me. The album is fast and intense. The lyrics are thought provoking and in your face. Definitely worth a listen.

And so I watch you from afar - Self titled

Another up-beat post rock album. Bounces back and forth from intensity to ambiance with every minute of each song.

Maybeshewill - Sing the word hope in a four part harmony

Beautiful up-beat post rock with metal core and electronic influences. There is a very strong political edge with this album. The album centers around a constant message of what it is to be a human being, and portrays this with perfection.
